Cost Example:

• The Northern Eagle Std. Package Price in 8x8 "D" Full log is $111,975 plus tax of $6,158 for a total of $118,133.
   
• Let's start with the building permit. $1,500 is pretty common, the price can range from $25 to $6,500.
   
• To dig and backfill your basement will cost about $3,000. If you are in rock or clay, it will be more. Tree removal will also be extra.
   
• Most concrete basements with footings and foundation for both the house and garage will be around $15,600. Drain tile will add more, if your lot requires it.
   
• Add drywall to all walls not already knotty pine,$4,500.
   

• $6,000 was the plumbing figure including water heater. Remember the fixtures, tub, sinks, stainless steel kitchen sink, faucets, etc. are in the standard package price.
   
• The heating and central air unit and labor $8,500.
   
• Electrical labor and materials were $8,500. Remember we included a $850 lighting allowance for light fixtures in the standard package.
   
• We have a $2,000 wood flooring allowance in the package, but you will still need to purchase an additional $6,970 more in carpet, tile, etc.
   
• The labor to stone the fireplace is $3,500.
   
• The general carpenter labor should cost $58,000. This could be high or low depending on your area.
