    Details: At Golden Eagle Log Homes, we call this home the Mountain View. Sure, you could build this log house with a mountain view, but a lake, woods or ocean view is great too. In 1,684 sq. ft. you are getting a lot of attention to detail (gingerbread) with four dormers, covered porch, and a big deck. Remember, this is what Log Home Design Ideas magazine started with to make their 2003 magazine show case home. If you were looking at a Mountain View in 2003, look closer as we have changed the 2004 model. The floor plan change took place to reflect the changes made by one of our customers who built this model in Minnesota. When Jay Parmeter, president of Golden Eagle Log Homes, and Ted Krause, Golden Eagle Log Homes 2003 Dealer of the Year, walked into this customer’s house, "awesome" was the word they both used to describe it. After seeing this modified Mountain View, Jay and Ted realized this was better than our stock plan and had our Mountain View plan revised.
