The Golden Eagle Log Homes Northern Eagle plan has large rooms, lots of glass, stone fireplace, and a two-stall garage. If you want to see one, visit our dealer, Coffen Construction at 7563 Highway 51 S, Minocqua, WI. They designed this log home because they felt this would be a popular Northwood's retreat, and it is! If you like this plan, it doesn't have to be built in northern Wisconsin. This home would fit in anywhere; Texas, Arizona, Iowa, Ohio, or Michigan. Coffen Construction's model in Minocqua has peeled split log on the exterior, with some split log on the inside in the Great Room. The remainder of their model is a nice mix of drywall and knotty pine tongue and groove. That is what is so nice about log homes; you can decorate them any way you want. The amount of wood and drywall you put in is up to you. Even on a full log home, the only full log walls are the perimeter walls. The partition walls are framed 2"x 4" walls so you can finish them with drywall or tongue and groove. The finishing of the ceilings is your choice. Our packages come standard with tongue and groove, but that can be changed if you would rather have drywall ceilings. It's your house and we aim to please. |
