Riverview Floor Plan

The Riverview is a luxury log cabin home plan of exceptional view maximizing design and genuine architectural distinction, a home originally conceived for a narrow lot that has since proven itself as one of the most versatile and admired custom log home designs in the Golden Eagle Log and Timber Homes collection, performing magnificently on lakefront lots, wooded properties, riverfront settings, and any piece of land where a commanding view deserves to be celebrated at every turn. What sets the Riverview apart from the very first glance is its masterful arrangement of the great room, kitchen, and signature octagon shaped dining room, each oriented to share the same breathtaking view simultaneously, ensuring that whether you are preparing a meal, gathered around the table, or relaxing by the fire, the natural world beyond is always present and always magnificent.

The open concept great room and kitchen flow seamlessly into the octagon dining room with a natural warmth and ease that makes this log home floor plan as ideal for quiet family living as it is for gracious entertaining. The abundance of windows throughout the main living area delivers an exceptional quality of natural light from sunrise to sunset, creating an interior that feels alive, connected, and genuinely uplifting at every hour of the day. The first-floor primary bedroom suite provides a private sanctuary of genuine comfort and distinction, while the upper loft extends the living experience beautifully with a versatile and light filled space perfectly suited to a guest bedroom, a home office, or a serene sitting area. First floor laundry and a two-stall attached garage complete the main level with the practical elegance that elevates every day of luxury log home living.

The Riverview is available in two versions, just over 2,000 square feet without the lower level, or nearly 3,500 square feet with the optional walkout basement, illustrated with nine-foot-tall walkout walls that introduce a generous additional living area of outstanding quality and natural light. With 2 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms, this plan delivers a remarkable standard of comfort and privacy for its footprint, and can be built over a crawl space, concrete slab, or full basement depending on the property and personal preference of the homeowner.

For those who seek a waterfront home floor plan or luxury lake house floor plan where every principal living space shares an unobstructed view, natural light pours in from every direction, and the timeless warmth of authentic log craftsmanship is present in every corner, the Riverview is a truly outstanding and deeply compelling open floor plan home. Riverview Floor Plan FAQs

Can I remove the attached garage from this plan?
Certainly! We can easily remove the attached garage from the Riverview floor plan. (It may reduce the cost of the home as well.)

The Riverview does not show a basement. Can I get this home with a basement (lower level)?
Yes. Adding a basement is quite simple. And, the added benefit of adding a basement is that it increases your square footage with minimal cost. If you think about it, all you are doing is adding a little more to the foundation and a few support walls and you have nearly doubled the square footage.

I like the Main Floor (first floor) of the Riverview floor plan. But, I don't need a Loft (second floor) can I get a version without the loft (second floor)?
Yes. We can easily remove the loft, second floor, or a mezzanine. Thereby, converting the home to a ranch style home. (It may reduce the cost of the home as well.)

Can I make changes or customize the Riverview floor plan to add some features that I would like?
This is where we excel... All of our plans can be modified to meet your design goals. Every log and timber home we sell is custom tailored to your specific wants and needs. In fact, you could give us a hand drawn floor plan and we can engineer the plan specifically for you. Plans on our website are just starting points. Every home we sell ends up being a custom home.

What Construction Styles are available for the Riverview floor plan.
The Riverview floor plan above is shown as a Traditional Log Home Package (square timbers, full/round-log, half/round-log, and more). However, we can also offer this plan as any of the following construction types (also referred to as packages):
