Lofted Log Floor Plan

The Lofted Log is a luxury log cabin home plan of exceptional artistry and enduring recognition, the recipient of the prestigious 2017 Jerry Rouleau Award for Excellence in Home Design and a perennial favorite on Golden Eagle Log and Timber Homes' annual Fall Tour of Homes where it consistently draws the largest and most enthusiastic crowds of any plan on the circuit. What makes this custom log home design so universally captivating is its masterful ability to deliver an abundance of warmth, character, and architectural richness within a footprint that is as approachable as it is breathtaking. From its beautifully crafted front entry staircase and great room fireplace to its recycled barnwood pantry shelves, its generous deck and rear patio entertaining area, and its light filled loft above, the Lofted Log is a rustic log cabin home that earns its award with quiet confidence every time someone steps through its door.

The open floor plan connects the great room, kitchen with snack bar, and dining area in a flowing and inviting composition that is as well suited to relaxed family living as it is to entertaining guests of any number. The great room fireplace anchors the main living area with authentic warmth and timeless character, while the kitchen pantry with recycled barnwood shelves adds a beautifully curated rustic detail that speaks to the level of thoughtfulness found throughout every corner of this log home floor plan. The upper loft extends the living experience beautifully, offering a light filled space of genuine versatility perfectly suited to additional sleeping accommodations, a home office, or a serene reading retreat. First floor laundry and a two-stall attached garage ensure that the practical rhythms of everyday life are met with effortless grace.

The Lofted Log is available in two versions, 2,000 square feet without the lower level, or just over 3,000 square feet with the optional walkout basement, which introduces a beautifully finished family room and bar area that expands the entertaining possibilities of this already remarkable plan considerably. With 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, this plan is ideally suited as a distinguished primary log home, a cherished luxury vacation home, or a refined personal retreat of lasting quality and character. A first-floor primary bedroom suite can be incorporated with minor modifications for those who prefer single level living.

For those who seek a small luxury log cabin home plan that has been recognized at the highest levels of residential design excellence and continues to inspire admiration from every person who experiences it firsthand, the Lofted Log is an extraordinary choice. Available in traditional log construction as well as timber frame construction, barndominium and additional building styles, and fully customizable to reflect your most personal dream home design, this award-winning open floor plan home proves beyond any doubt that some of the most magnificent things in life come in beautifully intimate packages.
