The Farmhouse Homestead blends refined farmhouse architecture with warm rustic character, creating a timeless retreat designed for both luxury living and everyday comfort. Offering 3,233 square feet with the ability to expand to 5,521 square feet with the optional finished lower level, this exceptional custom farmhouse plan features 3 bedrooms to 4 bedrooms, 3 to 4 bathrooms, and a spacious 3 stall garage with the equivalent of 3½ stalls of usable square footage. From the expansive 48-foot covered front porch and dramatic timber accent details to the vaulted great room and thoughtfully designed outdoor living spaces, every inch of this home was crafted to deliver a true luxury timber frame lifestyle experience.

Inside, the soaring great room immediately draws attention with its nearly 22-foot-tall stone fireplace, exposed timber trusses, and walls of windows that flood the home with natural light. The gourmet kitchen was designed to be both stunning and functional, featuring custom rustic hickory cabinetry, a massive center island, luxury appliances, farmhouse sink, walk in pantry, beverage station, and elegant designer finishes throughout. The open concept layout creates effortless flow between the kitchen, dining area, great room, and the expansive covered porch, making this an ideal luxury mountain home for entertaining family and guests year-round.

The first-floor primary suite offers a private retreat complete with vaulted ceilings, a spa inspired bathroom, soaking tub, oversized tiled shower with dual controls, walk in closet, and direct access to a beautiful screened porch overlooking the property. A second first floor bedroom provides flexibility for guests or a private home office, while the upper-level loft adds another layer of charm and functionality to the design. Featuring dramatic views into the great room below, exposed timber details, cozy sitting areas, and an additional bedroom with private bath access, the loft creates the perfect balance of openness and privacy within this thoughtfully designed timber frame home.

The optional finished lower level transforms the Farmhouse Homestead into a complete entertainment destination with a large recreation area, custom bar, fitness room, additional bedroom suite, and seamless walk out access to the outdoor patio and entertaining spaces. Like all of our homes, this plan is fully customizable and can be tailored to fit your land, lifestyle, and design vision. Whether you are searching for a sophisticated modern armhouse floor plan, a luxury timber retreat, or a fully customized forever home, the Farmhouse Homestead delivers timeless timber frame craftsmanship and elevated living throughout.

Farmhouse Homestead Floor Plan FAQs

Can I make changes or customize the Farmhouse Homestead floor plan to add some features that I would like?
This is where we excel... All of our plans can be modified to meet your design goals. Every log and timber home we sell is custom tailored to your specific wants and needs. In fact, you could give us a hand drawn floor plan and we can engineer the plan specifically for you. Plans on our website are just starting points. Every home we sell ends up being a custom home.

What Construction Styles are available for the Farmhouse Homestead floor plan.
The Farmhouse Homestead floor plan above is shown as a Traditional Log Home Package (square timbers, full/round-log, half/round-log, and more). However, we can also offer this plan as any of the following construction types (also referred to as packages):

I like this floor plan. However, I would like it flipped the other way around. Can it be flipped?
Absolutely! All of our floor plans are able to be flipped or rotated in any orientation to match the property, sun exposure, and your personal preferences.

Can I remove the attached garage from this plan?
Certainly! We can easily remove the attached garage from the Farmhouse Homestead floor plan. (It may reduce the cost of the home as well.)

I am building on a slab. Can I remove the basement that is shown above?
Yes. Nearly any of our homes can be built on a slab. There are a few things to keep in mind. When you remove a basement we will have to find a place on the first floor to add your utilities like furnace, electrical panel, and hot water heater.

I like the Main Floor (first floor) of the Farmhouse Homestead floor plan. But, I don't need a Loft (second floor) can I get a version without the loft (second floor)?
Yes. We can easily remove the loft, second floor, or a mezzanine. Thereby, converting the home to a ranch style home. (It may reduce the cost of the home as well.)
We are open Monday-Friday: 8am - 5pm CST   |   Saturday: (by appointment only)
